The Medical Reference Clinics and the Eye Center was founded in 2012 in the city of Jeddah, bride of the Red Sea, as one of the largest specialized clinics in the field of ophthalmology and eye surgery.
The motivation to establish a Medical Reference Eye Center is to overcome the suffering of the population of Saudi Arabia which is generally caused by eye diseases, and the lack of specialized centers for eye treatment, as well as lack of sub-specialties for the diagnosis and treatments of common and rare eye diseases.
